Teach a 1-Hour CEU Training Session at GEOINT 2027.
USGIF invites experienced geospatial practitioners, educators, and engineers from government, industry, and academia to propose focused 1-Hour Training Sessions for Monday, May 17 and Tuesday, May 18, 2027. Approved courses qualify for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) toward USGIF's Certified GEOINT Professional (CGP) credential.
What Qualifies for CEU Accreditation
To qualify for Continuing Education Units toward CGP certification, every training proposal is reviewed against three instructional standards.
Clear Learning Objectives
Define 3 to 4 concrete skills, analytical techniques, or technical workflows participants will be able to execute after completing the 60-minute block.
Strictly Non-Commercial Instruction
Training sessions must teach transferable geospatial tradecraft, open standards, or applied analytical methods rather than marketing a proprietary product.
Mapping to the GEOINT Essential Body of Knowledge (EBK)
Indicate which USGIF EBK competency areas (such as GIS, Remote Sensing, GeoAI/Data Science, Geodesy/PNT, or Cartography/Visualization) your session supports.
What to Include in Your Submission
- Course Title & 200-Word Abstract: Written for the attendee registration catalog.
- 3-4 Measurable Learning Outcomes: Action-verb objectives for CEU review.
- Target Skill Level & Prerequisites: Introductory, Intermediate, or Advanced.
- Instructor Bio(s) & Credentials: Highlighting subject-matter and teaching experience.

Send your training course proposal by Friday, December 18, 2026 to content@usgif.org with the subject line GEOINT 2027 Training Proposal. Acceptance notifications are sent in February 2027.
