Each morning of GEOINT 2027 opens on the Main Stage with real-world GEOINT in Action vignettes shared by USGIF CEO Ronda Schrenk and the USGIF Board Chair. Submit a verifiable story showing how geospatial intelligence solved an operational, humanitarian, disaster-response, or security challenge in the past 12 to 18 months.
Three Elements of a Compelling Main Stage Vignette
Opening Session vignettes are not commercials; they are concise, high-impact accounts of geospatial intelligence delivering measurable results in the real world.
A Concrete Real-World Event or Mission
Describe a specific event from 2025-2027: disaster response, maritime interdiction, allied exercise, infrastructure protection, environmental crisis, or warfighter support.
How GEOINT Tradecraft & Collaboration Worked
Explain how multi-source data, commercial sensors, AI/ML analytics, or public-private-allied collaboration uncovered the decisive insight when time mattered.
Compelling Visuals Cleared for Public Release
Because selected vignettes are narrated live on the Main Stage screen, high-resolution imagery, video loops, or map animations cleared for public release are strongly encouraged.
What to Include in Your Submission
- 300 to 500 Word Narrative: The operational challenge, the GEOINT approach, the partners involved, and the measurable outcome.
- Supporting Visuals: 1 to 3 cleared high-resolution images, maps, or short video clips illustrating the vignette.
- Point of Contact & Attribution: Primary technical/operational contact for fact verification and approved organizational attribution.
