Every session at GEOINT 2027 must advance a mission. USGIF invites government, military, industry, academic, and international practitioners to submit proposals for our three Exhibit Hall Mission Stages and the 5-minute Innovation Stage.

All afternoon breakout panels, fireside chats, and operational keynotes take place inside the Exhibit Hall across three dedicated Mission Stages.
Enabling the Warfighter
GEOINT capabilities, solutions, and needs for delivering operational readiness, decision advantage, and lethality at the tactical edge. Emphasizes field-tested workflows, tactical dissemination, and operator feedback.
Precision Navigation & Targeting
GPS-denied resilience, alternative PNT, precision effects in contested environments, multi-sensor fusion, and integrating GeoAI in the targeting cycle with rigorous verification.
Strengthening Regional Security
Allied intelligence and burden sharing, coalition interoperability, deterrence, maritime/arctic/border awareness, and theater-level integration across all domains.
Four Formats Designed for High Engagement
Multi-Perspective Panel
Up to 1 moderator and 3 to 4 panelists representing diverse viewpoints (combining government/military mission owners with industry or academic experts).
Fireside Chat
Focused, candid two-person conversation between a senior operational leader and an interviewer unpacking a specific mission deployment or acquisition lesson.
Operational Keynote
High-impact single-speaker briefing examining a concrete operational challenge, field experiment, or doctrine shift.
Lightning Talk
Rapid 5-minute single-speaker presentation on the Innovation Stage highlighting a breakthrough algorithm, dataset, sensor, or open-source tradecraft tool.
What the USGIF Review Committee Looks For
- Clear Mission Alignment: Proposals must state what operational problem is addressed and what attendees will learn to apply.
- Zero Sales Pitches: Overt product pitches or single-vendor promotional sessions will not be accepted.
- Cross-Community Diversity: Panel proposals that include U.S. government, military, allied, or academic perspectives alongside industry score highest.
- Confirmed Speaker Readiness: Listing invited speakers who are aware of the proposal and prepared to register by Spring 2027.
Submission Timeline
- Call for Sessions Opens: October 26, 2026
- Submission Deadline: December 18, 2026 (11:59 PM ET)
- Committee Review: January - February 2027
- Acceptance Notifications: March 2027
